Position Overview:

By leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) and principles of connected manufacturing, Navistar's latest facility aims to expand our market presence, optimize our supplier network, and elevate product quality.

We are currently in search of a Product Change Management Specialist to become a vital member of our Supply Chain/Materials team.


The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Engineering, Production/General Assembly, Technical Services, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and various other departments within Navistar.

The Product Change Management Specialist will oversee and schedule engineering change releases by coordinating implementation dates with cross-functional teams and monitoring the changes throughout their respective production cycles.

This role involves analyzing and coordinating part break dates based on factors such as part availability, manufacturing tooling requirements, parts routing for installation, and warranty considerations.

Applicants must demonstrate the ability to apply established standards while resolving a diverse range of complex issues, including those without precedent, and exercise sound judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for problem-solving.

Our manufacturing facility operates on a 4x10 production schedule, and this role may require support during production recovery times, including weekends as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
• Foster relationships with multiple departments within the plant and across other Navistar locations for relevant functional areas.

• Ensure data integrity and input across various business systems.

• Maintain the bill of materials and parts/commodities within supply chain management and other enterprise systems.

• Engage in complex problem-solving and analytical activities to address Engineering Change Orders and their impact on Supply Chain operations.

• Document findings, resolve issues, and report any discrepancies.


• Analyze and accurately resolve change management issues utilizing various system records, including releases, prints, Bill of Materials (BOM), receipts, purchase orders, manufacturing work orders, production transactions, and customer maintenance records.

• Prepare documentation for scheduled audits for management review, as well as for internal and external auditors.

• Communicate effectively and tactfully with peers and management.

• Maintain required metrics and report results.

• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Procurement, or Operations

• Alternatively, at least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Procurement, or Operations

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.

• 2-5 years of experience with Basic MRP/ERP/ASN or other inventory systems.

• Ability to effectively manage change and handle ambiguity.

• Skill in establishing relationships and fostering cooperation between organizations.

• Customer-focused approach, dedicated to meeting the expectations of both internal and external customers.
