Job Overview
As a Card Production Specialist I, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the efficient operation of production machinery and the quality of card materials. Your role will involve:
- Operating production machinery, including inserters, printers, and general office equipment.
- Executing high-speed, high-volume production activities such as embossing, inserting, and sorting card materials.
- Setting up equipment, loading materials, resolving simple malfunctions, and unloading finished products.
- Maintaining productivity across all systems while ensuring a quality output that meets production deadlines.
- Identifying and addressing clearly defined issues as they arise.
- Completing and maintaining operator reports and logs accurately.
- Reconciling incoming and completed work efficiently.
- Communicating any issues, concerns, or questions to the Production Management team.
- Performing repetitive tasks that are subject to inspection.
- Carrying out other related duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED is required.
General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in duties, workflow, and priorities.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are essential.
Job Level Description
This is an entry-level position requiring basic skills with a moderate level of proficiency. The role primarily involves performing high-volume production tasks under close supervision, with limited scope for independent judgment. You will have the opportunity to consult with senior peers and team leads on non-complex issues to enhance your learning experience. Typically, this position requires six months or more of experience in a card production or related role in a service industry.
