Compassionate Nurse Practitioner

Clinical Research Partners is in search of a dedicated and meticulous Nurse Practitioner to enhance our patient care services. This role involves leading and delivering direct patient care within our specialized infusion suite, while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality in healthcare delivery. You will be tasked with various patient care responsibilities, including monitoring vital signs, establishing and maintaining peripheral intravenous (PIV) access, administering injections, and meticulously documenting patient interactions.
As a key player in our healthcare platform, you will focus on improving patient access to infusion therapies, ensuring a personalized approach to treatment that emphasizes comfort and convenience. Our extensive range of infusion therapies includes anti-infectives, biologics, IVIG, and other injectable medications.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct patient consultations and assess health histories.Verify that prescribed therapies are suitable for each individual patient.Perform necessary physical examinations and screenings.Review, interpret, order, and administer relevant tests, including blood tests.Provide ongoing care information and educational materials to patients and their families.Deliver direct patient care, which includes obtaining vital signs, PIV insertion, monitoring, and removal, as well as administering subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.Manage and maintain PICC line and midline care, including their maintenance and removal.Follow sterile techniques when preparing and mixing medications according to established guidelines.Document all patient care activities in the infusion suite, including lab results and any changes in patient condition.Communicate effectively with referring providers regarding patient care and medication administration.Oversee inventory management and receive orders from approved suppliers.Track, order, and distribute patient-specific medications from specialty pharmacies, ensuring proper storage conditions.Monitor and maintain equipment within the suite, reporting any issues promptly.Participate in physical inventory assessments as required by company policy.Perform inventory management tasks in InfuseFlow, including cycle counts.Delegate appropriate tasks to other team members in the suite.Carry out additional related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:A minimum of 4 years of nursing experience.Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is mandatory.Possession of a current, unrestricted state nurse practitioner license.A solid record of satisfactory performance in previous roles, with positive references.Thorough understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and INS regulations.Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff, vendors, and patients.Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team, fostering positive working relationships.Proficiency in using company email, Microsoft Teams, and electronic medical records.Competence in utilizing self-service payroll software for time tracking and benefits management.Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and ability to navigate web browsers.Knowledge of CPR+, InfuseFlow, and RX Tool Kit.Sensitivity to cultural and language differences in patient care delivery.Strong mathematical skills, particularly in medication calculation to ensure safe and accurate administration.
