Compassionate Nurse Practitioner

Clinical Research Partners is seeking a committed and meticulous Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional patient care within our specialized infusion suite. This role encompasses leading patient interactions, ensuring optimal safety and care standards. Responsibilities include performing vital sign assessments, establishing and maintaining peripheral intravenous (PIV) access, administering necessary injections, and meticulously documenting all patient interactions.
Our organization is dedicated to enhancing patient experiences and access to infusion therapies. We prioritize personalized care in our infusion suites, offering a wide array of treatments such as anti-infectives, biologics, IVIG, and various injectables.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct patient consultations and assess health histories.Evaluate the appropriateness of prescribed therapies for individual patients.Perform necessary physical examinations and screenings.Order, interpret, and administer relevant tests, including blood work.Provide continuous care information and educational resources to patients and their families.Deliver direct patient care, including vital sign assessments, PIV management, and medication administration.Oversee the care and management of PICC lines and midlines.Adhere to sterile techniques for medication preparation and administration.Document all patient care activities, including lab results and changes in patient conditions.Communicate effectively with referring providers regarding patient care and medication administration.Manage inventory and coordinate orders from approved vendors.Track and distribute patient-specific medications, ensuring proper storage.Monitor and maintain infusion suite equipment, addressing any issues promptly.Participate in physical inventory processes as required.Utilize InfuseFlow for inventory management and tracking.Delegate tasks to team members as appropriate.Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:A minimum of 4 years of nursing experience.Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is mandatory.Possession of a current, unrestricted state nurse practitioner license.Demonstrated satisfactory performance in previous roles, with positive references.Thorough understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and INS regulations.Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, vendors, and patients.Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.Proficiency in using electronic medical records and communication tools.Competence in self-service payroll software for attendance and benefits management.Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Internet navigation.Knowledge of CPR+, InfuseFlow, and RX Tool Kit is advantageous.Awareness of cultural and language differences in patient care.Strong mathematical skills for accurate medication calculations.
