Job Overview

Clinical Research Partners is in search of a committed and meticulous Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional patient care in our infusion suite. This role entails leading direct patient interactions while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality in care delivery. Responsibilities include a variety of patient care tasks such as monitoring vital signs, establishing and maintaining peripheral intravenous (PIV) access, administering injections, and meticulously documenting all aspects of patient care.

Our organization is dedicated to improving patient outcomes and access to infusion therapies. We focus on delivering personalized in-suite infusion treatments that prioritize patient comfort and convenience, offering a wide array of therapies including anti-infectives, biologics, IVIG, and other injectable medications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient consultations and review comprehensive health histories.
  • Assess the appropriateness of prescribed therapies for individual patients.
  • Perform necessary physical examinations and screenings.
  • Order, interpret, and administer relevant tests, including blood work.
  • Provide ongoing educational resources and care information to patients and their families.
  • Deliver direct patient care, including obtaining vital signs, PIV insertion, monitoring, and removal, as well as administering subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
  • Manage and maintain PICC line and midline care, including maintenance and removal procedures.
  • Adhere to sterile techniques when preparing and mixing medications according to established guidelines.
  • Document all patient care activities within the infusion suite, including lab results and any changes in patient condition.
  • Communicate effectively with referring providers regarding patient care and medication administration.
  • Oversee inventory management and coordinate orders from approved vendors and pharmacies.
  • Track and manage patient-specific medications from specialty pharmacy providers, ensuring compliance with storage requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment within the suite, promptly reporting any issues.
  • Participate in company-wide physical inventories as per established policies.
  • Utilize InfuseFlow for tracking and performing inventory functions, including cycle counts.
  • Delegate appropriate tasks to other team members within the suite.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of nursing experience.
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.
  • Current, unrestricted state nurse practitioner license.
  • Demonstrated history of satisfactory performance in previous roles, with positive references.
  • Thorough understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and INS regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff, vendors, and patients.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a healthcare team.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records and company communication tools.
  • Competent in utilizing self-service payroll software for timekeeping and benefits management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and internet navigation.
  • Knowledge of CPR+, InfuseFlow, and RX Tool Kit is advantageous.
  • Awareness of cultural and language differences in patient care delivery.
  • Strong mathematical skills, particularly in medication calculations to ensure safe administration.
