Clinical Research Partners is in search of a committed and meticulous Nurse Practitioner to enhance our healthcare services. This role involves leading and delivering direct patient care within our specialized infusion suite, upholding the utmost standards of safety and patient care. Responsibilities encompass a variety of patient care tasks, such as measuring vital signs, establishing and maintaining peripheral intravenous (PIV) access, administering injections, and meticulously documenting patient interactions.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct patient consultations and evaluate health histories.Ensure that prescribed therapies align with individual patient needs.Perform necessary physical assessments and screenings.Review, interpret, and order relevant tests, including laboratory work.Provide ongoing care information and educational materials to patients and their families.Administer direct patient care, including vital sign assessments, PIV insertion, monitoring, and removal, as well as managing medication administration.Oversee the care of PICC lines and midlines, including their maintenance and removal.Follow sterile procedures when preparing and mixing medications according to guidelines.Document all patient care activities within the infusion suite, including lab results and any changes in patient condition.Communicate effectively with referring healthcare providers regarding patient care and medication administration.Monitor inventory levels and manage orders from approved suppliers.Track and manage patient-specific medications from specialty pharmacies, ensuring proper storage.Maintain and oversee suite equipment, reporting any issues promptly.Participate in company inventory checks as required.Manage inventory tasks using InfuseFlow, including regular inventory counts.Delegate responsibilities to other team members when appropriate.Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:A minimum of 4 years of nursing experience.Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is mandatory.Possession of a current, unrestricted state nurse practitioner license.A proven history of satisfactory performance in previous roles, with positive references.Thorough understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and INS regulations.Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff, vendors, and patients.Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team, fostering positive working relationships.Proficiency in using company email, Microsoft Teams, and electronic medical records.Competence in utilizing self-service payroll software for attendance and benefits management.Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to navigate Internet Explorer.Knowledge of CPR+, InfuseFlow, and RX Tool Kit.Awareness of cultural and language differences in patient care delivery.Strong mathematical skills, particularly in medication calculations to ensure safe and accurate administration.
