Responsibilities include a variety of patient care tasks such as measuring vital signs, establishing and maintaining peripheral intravenous (PIV) access, administering injections, and accurately recording patient interactions.
As a healthcare platform, Clinical Research Partners is dedicated to improving patient experiences and access to infusion therapies. Our tailored in-suite infusion services prioritize comfort and convenience, offering a wide array of treatments, including anti-infectives, biologics, IVIG, and other injectable therapies.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct patient consultations and assess health histories.Verify that prescribed therapies align with patient needs.Perform necessary physical examinations and screenings.Review, interpret, and order relevant tests, including blood work.Provide ongoing care information and educational materials to patients and their families.Administer direct patient care, including obtaining vital signs, PIV insertion, monitoring, and removal, as well as administering subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.Oversee the care and management of PICC lines and midlines, including maintenance and removal.Adhere to sterile procedures when preparing and mixing medications according to established guidelines.Document all patient care activities in the infusion suite, including lab results and changes in patient condition.Communicate effectively with referring providers regarding patient care and medication administration.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate orders from approved suppliers.Track and manage patient-specific medications from specialty pharmacies, ensuring proper storage conditions.Maintain and oversee suite equipment, promptly reporting any issues.Participate in company inventory checks as per policy.Perform inventory functions using InfuseFlow, including cycle counts.Delegate appropriate tasks to other team members in the suite.Carry out additional related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:At least 4 years of nursing experience.Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.Current, unrestricted state nurse practitioner license.Demonstrated history of satisfactory performance in previous roles, with positive references.Thorough understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and INS regulations.Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff, vendors, and patients.Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.Proficient in using company email, Microsoft Teams, and electronic medical records.Competent in utilizing self-service payroll software for time and attendance management.Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Internet Explorer.Knowledge of CPR+, InfuseFlow, and RX Tool Kit.Awareness of cultural and language differences in patient care delivery.Strong mathematical skills, particularly in medication calculations to ensure safe and accurate administration.
