Job Description

We require a minimum of 1+ years of interpreter experience, with a strong background in American Sign Language (ASL) and English proficiency. The ideal candidate will possess fluency in ASL, a demonstrated EIPA score of 3.5 or higher, and certification from RID or NIC.

  • Provide real-time interpretation for deaf or hard-of-hearing students in educational settings.
  • Ensure effective communication between students, teachers, and staff through creative problem-solving and adaptability.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and work collaboratively as part of a remote team.
Qualifications

To be considered, you must hold a minimum of an EIPA score of 3.5, possess fluency in ASL, and demonstrate English proficiency. Additionally, you should be able to obtain professional liability insurance and pass a technical screening.
