We are seeking a highly skilled Leasing Consultant to join our team at University Partners. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for marketing and leasing apartments to prospective residents.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to showcase their sales and marketing skills in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our community management team to achieve occupancy goals and provide exceptional customer service to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community.
  • Effectively lease apartments in accordance with occupancy goals.
  • Follow Fair Housing Standards in all dealings with prospects and residents.
  • Conduct outside marketing under the direction of the Assistant Manager and the Community Manager.
  • Complete lease paperwork and files for each resident, including the lease, all addendums, and other proper documentation and signatures.
  • Evaluate credit and income verifications and background checks for each applicant.
  • Ensure the condition of leased apartments prior to move-in, including a final inspection.
  • Follow up with residents throughout their lease terms, promote the annual renewal campaign for the community, manage lease renewals, and complete lease documents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; or High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able to demonstrate a positive attitude and effectively communicate the benefits of the apartment community to prospective residents.
  • Excellent customer service, sales, and negotiation skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
