Position Overview

Ewing Outdoor Supply is in search of a Credit Collections Specialist II to enhance our Finance department. In this role, you will take charge of overseeing and recovering outstanding customer debts to ensure prompt payments and reduce overdue accounts. You will collaborate closely with clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to address payment challenges while delivering outstanding customer support.

Compensation: Hourly Pay: $

Location: On Site

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a portfolio of customer accounts and track payment progress.
  • Engage with customers to recover overdue invoices and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Facilitate payment agreements and terms to encourage timely payments.
  • Identify and report potential credit risks to management.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and nurture positive relationships with clients.
  • Work with internal teams to address invoice discrepancies and disputes.
  • Document collection activities accurately and promptly in the system.
  • Assist in processing credit applications and reviewing credit limits.
  • Generate regular reports on collection efforts and customer payment behaviors.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in credit collections is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of collection regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in building rapport and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with robust organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with accounting and ERP systems is advantageous.
