Office Programs Assistant

Compensation: $13.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute various clerical tasks, including data entry.
- Manage input and output operations, making necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
- Handle tasks such as typing letters, certificates, reports, and forms promptly.
- Organize and maintain departmental files, records, and correspondence.
- Review transport lists for program arrivals and departures, updating logs as necessary.
- Proofread documents and relay information accurately; respond to calls and visitors appropriately.
- Encourage positive social skills by modeling appropriate behavior and providing feedback to staff.
- Ensure accountability of individuals and property while adhering to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- One (1) year of full-time clerical or secretarial experience, including proficiency in computer operations. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software is preferred.
- A valid driver's license in the state of Texas with a satisfactory driving record is required, unless waived by management.
- Must complete annual in-service training and pass a background check approved by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ).
