Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Environmental Health and Safety team at BGSF. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the EHS department, assisting with various tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the EHS department, including creating accounts for new or current employees, assigning trainings to employees, and updating employee records.
  • PowerPoint Presentations: Create and develop PowerPoint presentations for weekly safety meetings, working closely with the EHS manager to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • EHS Standards: Assist with the development and implementation of EHS standards throughout the company, working closely with the EHS manager and safety technician.
  • Technical Skills: Utilize technical skills to upload presentations to the online safety platform, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: A degree and experience in EHS support is preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative and environmental health and safety roles.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish is a significant advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Schedule: The successful candidate will work a standard 7-5 schedule with half days on Friday, after initial training.
