Position Overview:


The primary focus of this role is to deliver exceptional spa treatments for our guests in a tranquil, customer-oriented environment.

Daily responsibilities include assisting clients, preparing the nail treatment area, executing manicure and pedicure services, and performing cleaning and sanitizing tasks after each appointment.

Additional duties encompass maintaining departmental communication logs and liaising with reception regarding scheduled appointments, as well as general cleaning responsibilities within the spa, which includes restroom maintenance, supply stocking, dusting, and overall upkeep of the facility.

Each spa team member is also expected to attend all departmental meetings and be prepared to be on-call for incoming appointments. This position requires mental agility and the ability to effectively juggle multiple tasks. A Spa Nail Care Specialist must be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

All employees are expected to perform their duties safely and report any safety concerns to management. Additionally, all McMenamins employees are required to stay informed about company events, history, and products. Other responsibilities may be assigned by the Manager on duty.

Job Requirements:

  • Maintain a current Oregon Nail License to be displayed at the work site
  • Relevant professional experience
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication within the departmental logbook
  • Exemplary customer service and communication skills
  • Availability for on-call shifts as needed
  • Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events required

  • Occasional use of stairs and step stools
  • Maintain a positive, polite, and cooperative demeanor with colleagues, managers, vendors, and clients
  • Safely manage heavy lifting with assistance as necessary
  • Provide support to reception staff as needed
