Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a driven Appliance Technician Apprentice to become part of our organization. Following your training, you will be tasked with estimating repairs, executing repairs on residential appliances, and processing payments. Technicians will travel to various service appointments throughout the day, ensuring a diverse work experience as we service a wide range of appliances. Daily interactions with customers will be a significant aspect of your role.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, you should be organized, efficient, and possess strong problem-solving abilities. Interacting with customers daily requires a patient and respectful demeanor, as you will be representing our organization.

Essential Skills:
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Physically capable of lifting items weighing 75 lbs or more
  • Able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods
  • Interpersonal skills to engage with customers and resolve issues
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration in various situations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Persuasive skills when necessary
  • Dependable and self-motivated
Knowledge Requirements:

Familiarity with mobile devices provided by Tager Appliance Repair is essential. Experience with hand tools and mechanical tools is advantageous but not mandatory.

Training Provided:

4-8 weeks of apprenticeship training will be covered by Tager Appliance, including attendance at Master Samurai Tech. Certification is required to progress to a full technician role.

Work Environment:

Must be available for occasional after-hours work, but weekends are not required. The work setting is fast-paced and results-driven. A valid driver’s license is necessary, and candidates must pass a drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check.

Tools and Equipment:

Hand tools and mechanical tools will be provided, with some higher-priced equipment supplied by Tager Appliance Repair. Apprentices are expected to provide basic hand tools.
