Key Responsibilities- Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment/machinery to ensure proper operating condition
- Utilize hand tools, precision instruments, and power tools to diagnose and repair equipment
- Adjust and reassemble equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment
- Over 18 years of age
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Complete and pass pre-employment testing, including a drug screen and physical
- High school education or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 year related experience/training or equivalent combination of education or experience
The Heavy Equipment Technician will work in a repair shop environment, with occasional work in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
