Job Summary

We are seeking a Claims Adjuster Trainee to join our team at Progressive Insurance. As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will be responsible for helping customers navigate the claims process and resolving claims in a fair and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Coverage: Assess the extent of damage or loss and determine the coverage available to the customer.
  • Determine Liability: Investigate the circumstances surrounding the claim and determine who is at fault for the damages.
  • Interview Customers and Claimants: Gather information from customers and claimants to support the claims process.
  • Partner with Appraisers/Estimators: Collaborate with appraisers and estimators to manage vehicle repairs and ensure that customers receive fair compensation.
  • Negotiate with Customers and Other Insurance Carriers: Resolve claims by negotiating with customers and other insurance carriers.
Requirements
  • Three Years of Relevant Work Experience or a Bachelor's degree or two years of relevant work experience and an associate degree.
Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm during training. After training, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, 8:30am to 5:30pm, or 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Compensation
  • Salary: $52,000 - $53,500 per year, plus gainshare bonus up to 16% of eligible earnings based on company performance.
