Position Summary:

The Mirabel Hotel & Restaurant Group is seeking a motivated and charismatic individual to take on the role of Sales and Catering Manager. This position is ideal for someone who is energetic, possesses exceptional organizational abilities, and excels in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Formulates and implements a comprehensive business strategy tailored for each market to achieve or surpass company sales objectives and profitability.
  • Focuses on achieving high-end leisure sales targets while nurturing relationships with leading agencies.
  • Develops actionable plans for identifying and pursuing sales leads and potential clients.
  • Continuously assesses the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjusts plans accordingly.
  • Acts as the primary Sales Liaison, representing the organization during sales engagements.
  • Sets and meets quarterly sales targets for group and catering services across all Mirabel venues.
  • Initiates and coordinates strategies to explore and penetrate new market segments.
  • Establishes a strong local presence by collaborating with businesses and hotels to enhance the visibility and reputation of our catering and restaurant services.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Coordinator to produce effective promotional materials aimed at achieving sales goals.
  • Conducts site inspections, participates in relevant trade shows, and engages with clients on-site as necessary.
  • Provides regular updates and performance feedback to the General Manager and CEO.
  • Oversees and coordinates events such as GourmetFest, ensuring successful sponsorship sales and overall execution.
  • Works closely with the revenue manager to ensure competitive pricing for group and catering services, maximizing profit margins.
  • Keeps precise records of pricing, sales, and production/activity reports.
  • Creates and delivers compelling proposal presentations and responses to RFPs.
  • Collaborates with the Group Sales Manager on the preparation of proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Manages expenses to align with budgetary guidelines.
  • Addresses guest complaints effectively, ensuring satisfaction through appropriate resolutions.
  • Coordinates marketing and public relations efforts to stimulate local business and referrals.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
