Therapist - Addiction Recovery Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Crisis Therapist to join our team at Santa Fe Recovery Center, Inc. As a Crisis Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing counseling and therapy services to clients with substance use and mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and screen clients to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and a trauma-responsive approach.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive client care and ensure continuity of services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in crisis intervention and mental health treatment.
- Master's degree from an accredited clinically-related program.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Substance Abuse Associate (LSAA), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LADAC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) in the state of New Mexico.
- Minimum 1 year of experience providing individual and group therapy with clients with substance use and mental health disorders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations.
- Cultural and diversity understanding and awareness, with the ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Interpersonal skills that promote and encourage teamwork, with the ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
