Key Responsibilities- Provide professional substance use disorder counseling to outpatient clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individual treatment plans, and provide individual or group therapy utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Support ancillary support groups and programs as directed.
- Prepare and maintain complete case files, ensuring all required services, forms, and reports are included and complete.
- Enforce and maintain policies, procedures, rules, regulations, guidelines, and adherence to client service delivery, confidentiality, and ethics.
- Complete reports to resource agencies as required.
- Record client progress notes that reflect treatment goals and objectives.
- Provide intake/admission services and assist other staff in managing clients in emergencies.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a therapeutic and safe environment for clients.
- Coordinate referral services for clients to other agencies for services not provided by Santa Fe Recovery Center.
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Addictions, or related health field.
- Current licensure as a LPCC, LMHC, LMSW, LMFT, LADAC, LPAT, or Masters Level Counseling license.
- Two years of experience working with clients with co-occurring mental health/substance abuse problems, providing individual and group psychotherapy.
- Computer literacy to maintain compliance with BHSD Standards and requirements for the use of computerized client assessments, data systems, etc.
- Valid NM Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Bi-lingual/Bi-cultural preferred (English/Navajo).
- Competitive salary range from $54,000 - $66,500 (BOE).
