Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist with daily living activities, maintain patient records, and collaborate with our team to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bathing, Dressing, and Personal Hygiene: Assist residents with their daily bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene needs as required during shift hours.
  • Oral Hygiene: Support oral hygiene routines, including denture care, at designated times throughout the day and night.
  • Patient Care Records: Maintain accurate patient care records, documenting I&O as necessary.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks assigned by management or charge nurse, ensuring seamless delivery of care.
  • Treatment Assistance: Collaborate with the charge nurse to address resident needs and administer treatments as directed.

Requirements:

  • Age and Education: Candidates must be 18 years or older, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a genuine interest in caring for geriatric patients.
  • Certification and Experience: Hold active certification as a nursing assistant, listed on the DFS registry, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Possess excellent communication skills, a willingness to follow orders, and a strong ability to work collaboratively within our interdisciplinary team.
  • Professional Development: Participate in mandatory in-service training and staff meetings to ensure up-to-date knowledge and best practices in geriatric care.

Compensation and Benefits: This role offers an estimated annual salary of $35,000 - $45,000, commensurate with experience. A competitive benefits package, including health insurance and opportunities for career advancement, is also available.
