About the Role:

The Critical Care Coordinator will provide program coordination and administrative support for the Sound Physicians Critical Care program at assigned hospital(s). This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including hospital staff, physicians, and Sound Physicians leadership.

The Details:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing operational and administrative services, including coding, billing, payroll, and data review.
  • Supporting the Program Medical Director (PMD) and Regional Medical Director (RMD) in scheduling meetings, tracking committee membership, and preparing quality reports.
  • Assisting with data management, including tracking, trending, and preparing quality reports as required by the SCC dashboard and/or program-specific performance metrics.
  • Facilitating onboarding for providers at local sites and virtually to other outlying SCC sites, as needed.
  • Providing on-site coordination and facilitation for credentialing and privileging of hospitalists.
  • Assisting with medical records management, including pulling records for verification and tracking committee membership.
  • Managing incoming calls, mail, messages, and faxes for the local SCC team.
  • Completing census reconciliation and engaging the PMD or RMD in a timely manner when providers fail to submit census information.
  • Recording or reviewing patient medical information through electronic medical records and/or data entry tasks.
  • Organizing and maintaining the SCC office, including a reliable filing system for rolling 12 months of census management.
  • Assisting with scheduling changes, including scheduling physicians and tracking locums/temp labor shifts worked.
  • Consistently role-modeling the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers.
