Culinary Director

At Bon Appetit, we are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Director to lead our team in developing innovative food concepts and programs. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary expert to join our dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new food concepts and programs that meet the evolving tastes and preferences of our customers.
- Lead a team of senior chefs in planning, testing, and refining new menu items and culinary programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of new concepts and programs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and industry developments to inform menu development and innovation.
- Conduct food tastings and evaluate food presentation to ensure high-quality standards.
- Establish food specifications and work with food manufacturers and vendors to select the best products for our needs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding food safety and handling.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of progressive culinary experience in high-volume, complex service and catering operations.
- Minimum of two years of menu development experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of international cuisines and catering trends.
- Strong organizational, leadership, coaching, and training skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel extensively and represent the company in food service industry events and public relations appearances.
