Job Summary

Washington Trust Bank is seeking a highly skilled Construction Loan Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Real Estate lending team, you will be responsible for managing the loan process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate completion of loan transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with managers and team members to ensure seamless loan processing and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the loan process.
  • Review and analyze loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and identify potential issues or risks.
  • Coordinate with borrowers, title companies, and closing attorneys to ensure timely and accurate loan closings.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files, including loan documentation and customer information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including administrative tasks and special projects.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate lending or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and budgeting principles, as well as construction loan due diligence and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and bank core processing systems.
