Job Summary
Premier Research is seeking a Clinical Lead III to join our Clinical Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing coaching and mentoring to clinical staff, study teams, and external stakeholders. You will also lead, manage, and actively monitor the clinical monitoring team to ensure quality and timely deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides coaching and mentoring to clinical staff, study teams, and external stakeholders
- Leads, manages, and actively monitors the clinical monitoring team to ensure quality and timely deliverables
- Drives the successful activation of trial sites according to time, quality/scope, and budget parameters
- Creates and maintains a study-specific clinical monitoring plan (CMP) to track and analyze open actions, protocol deviations, and assess the financial health of the clinical aspect of the study
- Engages cross-functionally to deliver project deliverables with PM, Data Managers (DM), Clinical Monitoring Services team (CMS) to identify data-related issues and risks to clinical activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in a clinical, biological, scientific, or health-related field
- 9+ years of clinical research experience as CRA, CL, or PM, with at least 4 years onsite monitoring or 5 years remote monitoring experience
- 3+ years of previous Clinical Oversight experience or equivalent
- Working knowledge of clinical financials, including understanding of budgets, pass-through, and resource management
- Experience on the CRO side with coverage of Biotech customers is highly preferred
- Experience with MedTech and General Medicine trial management is a priority
