Job Summary

Energy Erectors, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and contractors.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate work-related incidents to determine cause and contributing factors.
  • Develop mitigation measures and corrective actions to reduce the risk of hazards.
  • Conduct training and education programs for supervisory and field employees.
  • Administer recordkeeping and documentation for safety training policies and requirements.
  • Recommend safe work processes and demonstrate personal protective equipment safety features.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are fit-for-purpose and meet safety standards.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of Electric Utility Safety Coordinator experience.
  • Associates degree or equivalent related work experience.
  • Knowledge of substation safe work practices and OSHA standards.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BCSP certifications.
  • OSHA 500/510 training.
Work Environment

This role requires extended periods of travel and working in various weather conditions. The physical demands of this job include lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
