Job Summary

Delta Fuel Company Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Lubricant Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our Oil & Gas Division. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing our lubricant customer base and developing strategic relationships with decision-makers in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and Nurture Strategic Relationships: Establish and maintain effective relationships with decision-makers in assigned target accounts to retain existing revenue and secure new business opportunities.
  • Develop and Manage Prospect and Customer Relationships: Identify and develop strategic positioning with decision-makers, retain and expand existing revenue, and attain additional new business.
  • Operate in Accordance with Company Policy: Adhere to company procedures in a prompt and timely manner, including travel, expense reimbursement, and entertainment expenses.
  • Utilize CRM Effectively: Utilize the CRM (Salesforce) for all future appointments, company meetings, sales call recaps, and critical business workflows, producing daily and weekly territory activity and funnel progress reports to executive leadership.
  • Prepare and Present Professional Lubricant Solutions: Develop and present professional lubricant solutions to prospective customers, following up diligently to close business.
  • Monitor Revenue Performance: Regularly review and analyze monthly revenue performance, sales forecasting performance, performance against budget, and expenses controls.
  • Represent the Company: Represent the company at trade shows, industry groups, and events.
  • Engage in Professional Growth: Actively engage in company training for certifications and professional growth in the lubricant sector.
Requirements:
  • Lubricant Knowledge and Experience: Possess knowledge of lubricants and preferably have experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate exceptional value-driven customer service skills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Formal Sales Training and Certifications: Possess formal sales training and certifications, which are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Possess above-average Email, computer, smartphone, and MS Excel skills.
  • Business Acumen: Possess proficiency in reading and interpreting Master Service Agreements, as well as knowledge of common business practices relating to the purchase, pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, and payment for products and services.
  • Professional Presentation Skills: Possess professional presentation skills and the ability to lead corporate-level meetings.
  • Product Knowledge: Possess the ability to learn and retain product-specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits to the customer.
  • Self-Motivation and Results-Oriented: Be self-motivated and results-oriented, competitive with strong organizational and interpersonal skills and a proven successful sales record.
Travel Requirements:

Travel is required up to 70% of the time.
