Position Overview:

The Community Engagement Coordinator will oversee community dining services for seniors and manage the packaging of meals for home delivery. This role serves as the primary representative of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS), acting as the first point of contact for customer relations, addressing concerns, and cultivating a supportive environment for our services within the community. The Coordinator will also interact with diners and volunteers to foster a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal instructions effectively.
  • Preferred experience of six months to one year in leadership roles or food service, particularly in settings involving older adults.
  • Creativity and public relations skills are essential for promoting a positive image of the organization.
