Brooklyn Center Community Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Youth Program Coordinator. In this role, you will engage groups of students in out-of-school time program activities, create high-quality lesson plans that target social and emotional learning goals, and ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the program.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead high-quality youth enrichment activities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that promote social and emotional learning
  • Supervise groups of up to 20 students at a time
  • Provide positive role models for all youth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support program needs

Requirements:

  • Must be 17 years of age or older
  • High school diploma, preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to positively interact with youth and support their development
  • Previous experience working with youth, preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Seeking staff for the following shifts: Elementary: 1:45pm - 4:45pm or 1:30pm - 6:15pm High School: 3:15pm - 6:15pm or 3:15pm - 7:45pm
  • Must be able to go outside daily
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds
  • Must be able to supervise up to 20 students at a time
