Job Summary:

Engage groups of students in out-of-school time program activities, creating high-quality lesson plans that target social and emotional learning goals. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the program, while demonstrating flexibility to support youth and program needs as they change on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead high-quality youth enrichment activities through the district's 21st Century out-of-school time programs.
  • Independently supervise groups of up to 20 youth at a time, serving as positive role models for all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful program.

Requirements:

  • Must be 17 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma, preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to positively interact with youth and support their development.
  • Previous experience working with youth, preferred.

Working Conditions:

Seeking staff for the following shifts: Elementary: 1:45pm - 4:45pm or 1:30pm - 6:15pm. High School: 3:15pm - 6:15pm or 3:15pm - 7:45pm. Must be able to go outside daily, lift 20 pounds, and supervise up to 20 students at a time.
