Job Description

Job Title: Senior Security Architect

Job Summary:

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced hardware security architect to define, craft, and guide the implementation of security architecture for our innovative SoCs and GPUs. The successful candidate will take a strong hands-on role, working with diverse teams across both NVIDIA and external partners to meet security requirements for our mobile, automotive, gaming, and server platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Architecture: Collaborate across the company to guide the direction of platform security and develop a long-term security roadmap for our products, working with hardware, software, research, and marketing teams.
  • Research and Development: Research, design, and develop architecture solutions meeting internal and external security requirements and standards.
  • Security Review: Review architectural, microarchitectural, and verification specifications published by internal teams to ensure all IPs comply with platform security requirements.
  • Customer and Partner Engagement: Work with customers and partners to identify and address security issues and threats.
Requirements:
  • Education: BS, MS, PhD (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience: 8+ years of meaningful relevant work or research experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with the ASIC design process and architecture of large SoCs or GPUs. Programming and debugging fundamentals across languages such as C/C++, Verilog, ARM assembly, and Python/Perl scripting.
  • Soft Skills: The ability to work in a dynamic customer-focused team with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Background: Background in System architecture for Gaming, Automotive, Server, or Mobile platforms and Cryptography: algorithms, standards, implementation, and application.
  • Security Expertise: Background in SoC security architecture and security fundamentals including secure boot or measured boot and ARM or RISCV CPU architectures and related security functionality.
  • Security Threats: Background in Security mitigations against physical attacks including fault injection and side channel attacks.
  • Remote Attestation: Background in Remote attestation mechanisms based on TPM or other solutions and Digital Rights Management (DRM) standards.
  • Security Testing: Background in Security threat modelling and penetration testing and Certification standards and compliance testing.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range is $180,000 USD - $339,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
