About the Role

Bitcentral, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in Newport Beach, CA. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise network solutions, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise network solutions, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Manage storage provisioning across SAN, NAS, and DAS environments to optimize utilization.
  • Integrate and manage hybrid network environments, combining on-premises and cloud resources.
  • Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance, capacity, and availability of organization-wide computer systems.
  • Provide technical leadership, training, and consulting related to computer systems, their applications, and uses.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years in network and system administration within a Windows Server environment.
  • Proficiency in Linux is a plus.
  • Advanced expertise with Enterprise Storage solutions, including SAN (NetApp, Nimble, Tegile), NAS, and DAS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Entra, AzureAD, Intune, Defender, and Purview.
  • Skilled in upgrading servers and services to Windows Server 2022 and VMware infrastructure to ESXi 8.
  • Experienced with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, etc.) and their integration with on-premises infrastructure.
  • Competent in configuring Cisco routers and switches (Cisco IOS, Catalyst switches, etc.).
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting, automated deployments, and mass imaging.
