About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Splunk Cloud Administrator to join our team at Diverse Lynx LLC. As a Senior Splunk Resource, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and administering Hybrid Splunk environments, ensuring the availability of data sources, and troubleshooting performance issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and administer Hybrid Splunk environments, including Splunk Cloud, Heavy forwarders, UFs, and Deployment server.
  • Monitor the Splunk infrastructure for capacity planning and optimization.
  • Implement best practices, identify issues proactively, and resolve them on-time.
  • Ensure the availability of data sources with UFs, Heavy Forwarders, and movement of data into Splunk Cloud.
  • Troubleshoot Splunk performance issues, log feeds, field extractions, search time, etc.
  • Coordinate and escalate with vendors to resolve potential issues.
  • Monitor the Splunk infrastructure for capacity planning and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain clear standard operating procedure (SOP) and technical build documentation for maintaining the Splunk infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Experience in design, implementation, administration, and support on Hybrid Splunk environments.
  • Experience in onboarding data and troubleshooting.
  • Good understanding of Role-based access controls (RBAC) in Splunk.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in project management and customer service.
  • Ability to write clear SOP and technical build documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Scripting experience in PowerShell, Perl, Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud platform (EC2 / S3).
  • Certification on Splunk Cloud Administration.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows with a solid understanding of system administration.
