Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Smart Foodservice Stores LLC. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide fast, easy, and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and front end.
  • Restock shelves, face merchandise, and maintain visual displays to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with cash handling equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous retail sales experience.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and stockroom procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. The store is open to the public, and the noise level can be moderate. The temperature varies throughout the store, ranging from -10 to 85 degrees.

Compensation:

The expected compensation for this role is $19.66 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and shift differential. This part-time position is ineligible for benefits.
