Job Title: Business Development Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Waterway Carwash. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading our retail operations, managing daily store production, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by Example: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, identifying needs, and selling car wash services, memberships, and other services.
- Manage Daily Operations: Coordinate daily store production, staff the store based on forecasted business needs, and adjust in response to changes in demand.
- Lead and Manage Employees: Provide daily direction and coaching to employees, coach, mentor, and develop employees, and create a positive, professional, and safe work environment.
- Manage Store Inventories: Monitor and manage store inventories, complete regular audits, and ensure the store meets appearance and safety standards.
- Perform Administrative Tasks: Complete all required administrative tasks punctually and accurately, respond to and effectively resolve customer and employee concerns and issues, and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns or failures.
Requirements:
- Education: Current and valid associate's degree or above, or at least 2 years of experience in supervisory or management roles, professional sales, or military leadership.
- Availability: Available to work a retail schedule (5 of 7 days, 45 hours, including weekend and holidays).
- Physical Requirements: Will work outdoors year-round, exposed to wide temperature variations, sunshine, wet weather, humidity, wet surfaces, gasoline and exhaust fumes, machinery and moving parts, and brief exposure to car wash tunnel noise.
