The project encompasses the decommissioning of outdated coal-powered units and the implementation of advanced natural gas units designed for hydrogen utilization, targeting a net generation output of 840 megawatts. Additionally, it includes the enhancement of a Transmission System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive planning and scheduling tasks, ensuring all project assignments align with established training and expertise.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project team members.
- Act as a lead facilitator, driving the project control function and influencing both internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee project forecasting and proactively identify potential issues that may impact project execution.
- Lead efforts in developing project schedules and plans, ensuring that constructability is integrated into the planning process.
- Implement key cost control measures and maintain systems to monitor work status and proactively address challenges.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify and resolve project-related issues.
- A four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
- Minimum of six years of relevant experience in Cost Control, Planning, and Scheduling.
- Proficiency in scheduling and earned value management is essential.
