CUMULUS | San Francisco operates six of the Bay Area's most beloved radio stations, including KNBR AM (680/1050) & KNBR-FM, KSAN The Bone, KGO, and KSFO. Our award-winning stations offer a variety of programming, from Classic Rock on The Bone to renowned News and Talk shows on KGO & KSFO, as well as sports coverage on KNBR. At Cumulus San Francisco, we aim to recruit passionate, driven, and resourceful individuals who can contribute to the evolving and diverse culture of today’s media landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between the sales team, clients, and other internal departments while managing administrative tasks for the office.
- Organize and input new and revised orders; assist in developing sales proposals and digital campaigns; provide customer support to resolve issues and enhance business growth.
- Support Account Executives with order processing and traffic management as required.
- Prepare and compile reports and presentations.
- Conduct research using tools such as Tapscan, Media Monitors, and Scarborough.
- Ensure sales materials and media kits are current.
- Act as a backup for Account Executives to input traffic instructions into vCreative.
- Manage phone calls, correspondence, and appointment scheduling.
- Maintain account lists, mailing lists, and employee directories.
- Assist clients by providing necessary documents and forms to facilitate seamless execution of media buys.
- Collaborate with Traffic Managers to gather copy and traffic instructions, addressing clearance issues as needed.
- Handle multiple time-sensitive projects while adhering to deadlines.
- Welcome clients, on-air guests, visitors, job applicants, and contest winners.
- Screen and direct incoming calls to the appropriate personnel/department and accurately relay messages while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail postage.
- Provide information to listeners regarding commercials and news stories.
- Oversee kitchen and office supply inventory.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Operations Manager, Sales Management, Market Manager, or Director of Finance related to sales or administrative functions.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, marketing, advertising, or promotions is preferred.
- Proficient in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), image manipulation, social media, and adaptability to proprietary systems.
- Experience in a radio station environment is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented self-starter with strong organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities and strong multitasking capabilities are essential.
- Dependable with a robust work ethic and a collaborative team player attitude.
- Able to make decisions and work independently without direct supervision.
- Ability to interact courteously and amicably with individuals at all levels, including management and staff.

- Hourly compensation ranging from $23.07 to $24.04.
