  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, coordinating efforts with NFPA staff and membership sections.
  7. Continuously enhance knowledge of electrical safety and the NEC.
  8. Contribute to the achievement of NFPA's strategic objectives.
  9. Identify and pursue opportunities to strengthen relationships and improve safety initiatives in the region.
  10. Prepare reports and correspondence related to responsibilities and provide feedback to the Association.
  11. Manage the operations of a remote regional office and travel schedule.
  12. Oversee activities within the allocated budget.
  13. Assist with various regional and national initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. Experience in electrical inspections and the electrical industry.
  2. Bachelor's degree in an electrical-related field or a relevant building construction program, along with a high school diploma.
  3. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the application, promotion, or enforcement of electrical codes and standards.
  4. In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
  5. Demonstrated public speaking capabilities.
  6. Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
  7. Proven ability to cultivate and maintain robust relationships with various parties.
  8. Innovative thinker with the capacity to develop and implement strategies.
  9. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  10. Possession of a valid driver's license.
