Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct troubleshooting, modifications, repairs, and inspections across various engineering domains including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Assist the engineering team with on-site deployments.
  • Gather and analyze data from multiple systems.
  • Validate change requests and modifications.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Provide on-site support for testing, commissioning, and internal evaluations.
  • Comprehend technical challenges related to different fleets and subsystems, ensuring effective resolution.
  • Execute system testing activities, including breakdown, operational, and system-level tests.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, project specifications, and safety regulations during testing.
  • Utilize test fixtures and adhere to functional testing protocols.
  • Identify and resolve operational and technical issues, proposing practical enhancements to system designs.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including test records, data sheets, and reports accurately.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in testing signaling, train control systems, or related rolling stock products.
  • Hands-on experience with testing instruments such as VOMs, DMMs, and oscilloscopes.
  • Familiarity with rolling stock products and their system interfaces.
  • Demonstrated awareness of railway safety protocols.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
