Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Installation Lead to join our team at Apex Companies, LLC. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for directing a small team of installers while maintaining schedules and equipment.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a team-oriented and customer-driven company culture. You will be responsible for ensuring installation projects meet both customer expectations and design requirements, exercising and enforcing proper safety practices at all times, and communicating effectively with management regarding scheduling and personnel management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure installation projects meet customer expectations and design requirements
  • Exercise and enforce proper safety practices
  • Work with project managers and customers to troubleshoot on-site alterations to projects
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding scheduling and personnel management
  • Manage tools, equipment, and personnel to ensure optimal performance
  • Utilize sound decision-making and problem-solving practices
  • Accurately document material lists, project information, and alterations
  • Lead crews by example, including first-hand instruction and working side by side
Requirements
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • MHE and/or construction experience required
  • Relevant knowledge or warehousing/distribution, pallet rack design, material handling equipment, etc.
  • Ability to properly utilize a variety of tools and large equipment
  • Clean driving record
