ISP Field Service Technician

The ISP Field Service Technician is a critical member of our team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Ripple Fiber equipment in accordance with customer requirements and company standards.
This role requires a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all last mile and access equipment to ensure seamless network performance.
- Perform fault finding and troubleshooting to resolve customer complaints.
- Create and maintain network documentation to ensure accurate records.
- Use monitoring tools to identify and resolve problem areas.
- Assist with escalations to resolve end-user issues.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot broadband services, including Wi-Fi routers and smart home devices.
- Route fiber optic drops and connect clients to the Ripple Fiber network.
- A valid state driver's license and safe driving record.
- Ability to operate hand tools and handheld mobile devices.
- Experience in customer service, construction, electrical, technical, or related fields is a plus.
- Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Lift and move up to 60 lbs, with some ladders weighing 50-60 lbs.
- Work in small spaces or lofts (up to 28 ft.).
- Identify wire and cable colors.
- Qualify on pre-employment assessments.
- Be available for overtime, emergency call-outs, and holiday work.
