Job Overview

As a Branch Manager at Neighborhood Credit Union, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees in a branch atmosphere to best meet the financial needs of the community. You will be a digitally focused leader, committed to training and coaching staff on the use of digital channels and services, as well as the technology used at the branches. Your goal will be to create an environment that promotes excellent world-class service to members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for the effective and efficient performance of branch operations, ensuring that all transactions are balanced at the close of each day and that cash controls are maintained.
  • Effectively coach branch staff, ensuring optimal performance and providing regular touchpoints to monitor progress and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Establish and maintain effective, professional business relations within the organization, with members, and in the community, embracing the culture of the branch community through consistent involvement in local events and partnerships.
  • Administer branch functions, utilizing branch-specific reports to track and promote branch production and goals, and maintaining awareness of rates and services of competing organizations in the surrounding communities.
Requirements
  • A two-year college degree or job-specific skills required to manage a retail branch.
  • Three to five years of similar or related experience.
  • Excellent communication and public relations skills, ability to analyze accounts, and attention to detail.
