Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Replenishment Strategies: Create and execute replenishment plans to ensure optimal inventory levels across 5-8 branches, including at least one major hub.
  • Manage Inventory Levels and Flow: Plan, replenish, and monitor inventory levels to meet service level and inventory control objectives.
  • Optimize Supply Chain Operations: Manage hub-to-spoke and vendor shipment relationships to ensure cost savings and inventory optimization.
  • Analyze and Improve Forecast Accuracy: Analyze working capital factors, vendor ordering procedures, freight issues, and seasonal product needs to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Ensure Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with minimum order quantities, freight terms, and payment conditions, and resolve issues related to vendor performance and inventory movement.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including Operations, Sales, and Category Management, to ensure alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Provide Coverage and Support: Provide coverage for other planners during PTO and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement planning and supply chain management.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software (D365 preferred), excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, and ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
