Workforce Development HR Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to join our team at the Workforce Development Council of Seattle-King County. As an HR Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the organization's mission by overseeing multiple HR functions, including policies and procedures, employee relations, benefit administration, recruitment, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance and Risk Management: Stay up-to-date on changes in local, state, and federal employment laws and ensure organizational compliance.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement, including training and development opportunities, recognition programs, and performance management processes.
- Recruitment and Talent Management: Conduct full-cycle recruitment, develop job descriptions, and manage the hiring process to attract top talent.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent (at least 5 years) experience, in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working in a nonprofit or government context is a plus.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- $95,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience.
