Job Title: Field Service Professional - North AmericaDescription

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Professional to join our team in North America. As a key member of our field service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring timely maintenance and product installation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer support during field visits, addressing technical issues and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Manage and execute all on-site installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks efficiently, adhering to industry standards and company policies.
  • Diagnose complex technical problems, collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless issue resolution and maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver technical training sessions to customers, enhancing their knowledge and understanding of our products.
  • Promote part sales through expert guidance and reviews, fostering strong relationships with customers and driving business growth.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements, providing personalized recommendations and briefings to meet their needs.
  • Accurately document field changes, processes, and modifications, supporting future product development, ongoing service support, and potential warranty claims.
  • Establish service requirements, ordering necessary components and parts to complete service requests effectively.
  • Produce detailed and timely service reports and Sales Force ticket updates, ensuring accurate records and efficient communication.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of our products and suppliers, staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements.
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERS THROUGH EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AND EXCELLENT SERVICE.
  • PERFORM PROJECTS THAT SUPPORT PRODUCT OFFERINGS, PRODUCT PROCESSES, DOCUMENTATION IMPROVEMENT, AND COMPANY GROWTH AS REQUIRED.
Requirements
  • You must have a High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • 1-3 years' experience as a technician or equivalent mechanical ability; other relevant experience will be considered.
  • Automotive or transit experience preferred.
  • You should be proficient in reading blueprints and using hand tools or other required tools for the job.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for up to 12 hours per day.
  • Flexible regarding working hours and travel.
  • Able to travel extensively, including possibly weekends.
  • You must have a valid driver's license and passport and be able to travel internationally.
  • Knowledge of computerized business systems, Excel, Word, email, and general personal computer skills.
  • Outstanding oral communication skills, including tact and diplomacy, which would be utilized during customer service, conflict management, and development of relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and diverse projects, including analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing, problem-solving, decision-making, and carrying out assigned projects with minimal supervision.
  • You can follow verbal and written instructions, directions, and other communication in English.
  • Safety is at the forefront of your mind when you are working, and you gladly follow all safety policies to promote a safe working environment at United Safety.
  • You bring with you a positive attitude and the ability to work cohesively in a team environment.
  • You help United Safety operate effectively by adhering to United Safety's attendance and punctuality standards and not burden co-workers and supervisors unfairly with unnecessary and unplanned absences and lateness.
  • You understand that you are part of a growing company, and you have no concerns with and can work extended hours/over-time as needed as well as some Saturdays to support that growth.
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. This figure includes a base salary range of $55,000 to $75,000, depending on performance and individual circumstances.
