Mobile Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in the North West region. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will have strong knowledge of automotive and transit systems, as well as experience with hand tools and computerized business systems.
Key Responsibilities- Service and Support: Provide high-quality service and customer support during field visits, ensuring timely completion of installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Technical Expertise: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, utilizing your knowledge of USSC products and suppliers to provide effective solutions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document field changes and processes, producing detailed service reports and updating Sales Force ticket records.
- Sales and Training: Develop and deliver technical training on USSC products, promoting sales through product knowledge and recommendations.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1-3 years' experience as a technician or equivalent mechanical ability preferred.
- Skills and Qualifications: Proficient in reading blueprints, using hand tools, and troubleshooting technical equipment. Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for up to 12 hours per day.
- Travel and Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively, including weekends, and adapt to changing work schedules.
- Competitive Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on experience and location.
