Ski Resort Hotel Manager

Key Responsibilities of the Ski Resort Hotel Manager:

This winter, we are seeking a skilled Ski Resort Hotel Manager to oversee our club hotel operations. You will manage a lively hotel that accommodates numerous guests, ensuring a memorable stay for all.

As the Hotel Manager, your role will encompass the comprehensive management of hotel operations, including:

  • Upholding service and safety standards throughout the property.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and addressing any escalated guest concerns.
  • Collaborating effectively with your Assistant Manager, Head Chef, and other team members.
  • Conducting staff meetings and promoting team incentives.
  • Facilitating staff training and professional development.
  • Creating and managing staff schedules in accordance with legal and company guidelines.
  • Coordinating with HR teams to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Working alongside department heads to maintain accurate inventory and budget adherence.
  • Engaging with sales and operations teams to understand guest needs and special requests.
  • Driving revenue across all hotel services, including dining and bar operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with operational and local authority regulations.
  • Maintaining high health and safety standards throughout the hotel.
  • Overseeing food service quality and budget management to achieve excellent guest feedback.
  • Being hands-on in daily operations, from housekeeping tasks to maintenance duties.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated management experience in the hospitality sector.
  • Experience in the travel industry is advantageous.
  • Strong background in customer service.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage diverse workloads.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on teamwork and results.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to support your team during peak times.
  • Confidence in interacting with various departments and stakeholders.
