Position Overview:

The Ski and Snowboard School Supervisor is a vital member of the Park City Ski and Snowboard School Management team. This role primarily involves overseeing the front-line operations of Park City Ski and Snowboard School offerings under the guidance of the Location Manager. You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager to ensure our guests receive the Experience of a Lifetime. This is a full-time seasonal salaried position.

Compensation Details:

  • Salary Range: $52,000 - $62,465
  • Department: Ski & Snowboard School - Park City
  • Schedule: Full-Time Seasonal

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct oversight of Ski and Snowboard instructors.
  • Assign daily responsibilities and manage lesson allocations for instructors in your designated area.
  • Process instructor lesson reports for payroll and approve submitted timecards on a daily basis.
  • Mentor, observe, coach, and provide constructive feedback and evaluations for instructors.
  • Regularly evaluate instructor performance and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Management Team to cultivate a culture of Health and Safety.
  • Proactively ensure exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Uphold consistent standards for accountability in accordance with company and departmental policies.
  • Develop proficiency in RPOS, Pro Connect, and specific Ski School Tools and Reporting Modules.
  • Adjust staffing levels as directed by the Product and Location Manager(s).
  • Maintain accurate record-keeping and reporting systems.
  • Lead special events and maintain facilities, assisting in training as required.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, particularly in guest service scenarios.
  • Strong skiing or snowboarding abilities, capable of navigating various terrains.
  • Passion for working with and relating to individuals of all ages.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and supervise others.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks and providing mentorship.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
  • Experience with RPOS, RTP, or Pro/Guest Connect is preferred.
  • A college degree and/or two years of relevant leadership experience in a related field, or a combination of education and experience that provides comparable knowledge and skills.
  • PSIA/AASI Level I Certification (or equivalent) is required.
  • PSIA/AASI Level II or III Certification is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to endure prolonged exposure to cold and inclement weather.
  • Able to sit at a computer for extended periods.
  • Physical strength and capability to respond effectively to emergencies and unforeseen situations.

The expected salary range is $52,000 - $62,465. This range reflects our reasonable expectations for this position. Individual compensation decisions are influenced by various factors.
