Position Overview:
The Senior Vice President of Operations is tasked with overseeing the company's factoring operations across various segments, including large, medium, and small fleets, as well as freight brokers. This role requires close collaboration with leaders from multiple departments, such as sales, underwriting, and credit, to ensure operational excellence and support the company's revenue and profitability objectives while maintaining top-tier risk and fraud mitigation practices.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Leadership of Operations Team:**
- Direct a substantial operations team serving a diverse client base throughout the nation.
- Analyze portfolio and financial performance data to guide high-risk funding decisions while upholding established credit controls.
- Foster a vibrant team culture that prioritizes customer service and effective risk management.

2. **Mentorship and Development:**
- Act as a mentor to the leadership team, focusing on career advancement and personal growth.
- Establish and implement operational policies and standards to ensure consistent execution and support.

3. **Resource Management:**
- Plan and coordinate resources to deliver quality services to clients punctually.
- Identify and implement new processes and technologies to enhance organizational efficiency.

4. **Strategic Growth and Compliance:**
- Collaborate on strategies for both short-term and long-term business growth and process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and manage operations-related compliance matters.

5. **Performance Monitoring:**
- Develop and evaluate performance metrics to drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Address escalated disputes and customer complaints promptly, seeking positive resolutions.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is mandatory; a Master's degree in Business Administration is highly preferred.
- At least eight years of proven leadership experience, with a minimum of three years in a large-scale environment.
- Familiarity with the transportation and logistics factoring industry is strongly preferred; knowledge of asset-based lending is advantageous.
- Industry certifications are highly desirable; bilingual skills (Spanish or Serbian) are a plus.

Work Environment:
