Position Summary:

The Regional Floral Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the commercial floral accounts, focusing on strategic planning and execution. Key responsibilities include managing the profit and loss for the designated area, leveraging data analytics to pinpoint growth opportunities, and regularly engaging with team members in the field to ensure adherence to company policies and initiatives. Building strong relationships with both the team and accounts is essential, as is creating actionable plans to achieve organizational objectives, identifying new talent for recruitment, and ensuring the quality of fresh-cut flowers provided to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the profitability and success of all locations within the assigned region by analyzing financial statements and managing budgets.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to meet company goals through efficient operational processes.
  • Utilize tools for superior inventory management and presentation.
  • Monitor overall regional performance, identify gaps between actual and projected performance, prioritize issues, and create action plans to meet organizational objectives.
  • Foster business relationships with store leaders, field supervisors, sales teams, and peers through effective meetings.
  • Identify new business opportunities in the operational area, including distribution flow, merchandising strategies, recruitment, training, and customer service.
  • Spend a minimum of 40% of time in the field with the field supervisor team to ensure proper execution of company initiatives and follow up on agreed plans.
  • Network actively to discover external talent and collaborate with the supervisor team to recruit exceptional candidates.
  • Mentor and develop the field team, oversee training programs, and provide ongoing coaching to motivate team members.
  • Build and maintain a committed team of field supervisors to uphold profit margins and execute the business plan.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual agreements for each customer.
  • Maintain product quality, inventory levels, staffing, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of multi-unit management experience in a sales-related environment.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
  • Knowledge of business development and strategy implementation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth.
  • Proven ability to sell, manage, and drive business growth.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.

Essential Functions:

  • Willingness to travel to multiple locations.

  • Flexibility to work long hours, including weekends.
