Job Summary

The Order Fulfillment Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately processing and fulfilling customer orders in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify customer and order information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Receive and respond to customer orders in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Review orders for completeness and forward incomplete orders for further processing.
  • Recommend products or services that meet customer needs and preferences.
  • Inspect outgoing work to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Monitor inventory levels to determine availability of requested products.
  • Notify relevant departments when supplies are low or when orders would deplete available stock.
  • File copies of orders received or post orders on records as required.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of related experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and relay written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to operate various hand and power tools when needed.
  • Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts when needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, and sitting while working indoors or outdoors.
  • Adequate physical condition to perform requirements such as mental, physical, and manual dexterity, hand/grip strength, depth perception, and other physical attributes.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 75 pounds regularly.
  • Must wear prescribed personal protective equipment when handling materials or operating equipment.
